> For the complete documentation index, see [llms.txt](https://krjaeh0.gitbook.io/j-log/llms.txt). Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending `.md` to page URLs; this page is available as [Markdown](https://krjaeh0.gitbook.io/j-log/devtool/git/git_lf_commit.md).

# git\_LF\_commit

I can convert those pages into GitBook-optimized Markdown (using tabs, steppers, expandables, hints, etc.), but I don't currently have access to fetch web pages. Please choose one of the options below so I can proceed:

1. Paste the raw page content (HTML or Markdown) you want converted here — I will transform it into GitBook-friendly Markdown following the rules you provided.
2. Allow me to fetch the pages directly (I’ll need you to confirm you want me to retrieve content from both URLs). If you confirm, I’ll fetch and convert them.
3. If you want only one of the two pages converted, tell me which one and provide its content or permission to fetch.

If you pick option 1, paste the content. If you pick option 2, confirm which URLs to fetch (both or one). Also tell me any specific formatting preferences (e.g., prefer steppers for numbered procedures, convert package-manager command blocks into tabs — I will do that automatically when detected).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://krjaeh0.gitbook.io/j-log/devtool/git/git_lf_commit.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
